Nancy joined the company in March of 2006 as vice president of finance and in October 2007, was appointed to her present role. In this capacity, she is depended on to oversee external relationships, prepare reports, supervise staff and provide strategic development. She is an expert in international economics and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Alberta University. In addition to her degree, Nancy is a chartered accountant and a certified internal auditor. She is well known and widely admired for her proficiency and professionalism and credits her success to hard work and commitment. Prior to joining The Cash Store, Nancy held several senior level executive positions with such high profile companies as Capital Health, Luscar Ltd., Northwest Territories Power Corporation and Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants. She is equally accomplished philanthropically and maintains an active profile within the community, providing support to a variety of organizations that benefit education. Away from her duties as chief financial officer, Nancy enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and travel.
