Heather M. Liffiton has been named an honored member in education by Princeton Premier.

Sept. 25, 2008 - PRLog -- Heather M. Liffiton is the superintendent of education and special education services at the Greater Essex County School District Board.  She has been in this capacity since 1997 and is depended on to manage the schools programs and operations as well as its thirty-nine million dollar budget, a staff of over three hundred and a student body of over four thousand.  Heather is additionally responsible for the special education department and the development of its curriculum, faculty and finances.  She holds a master’s degree in education from Windsor College and is an esteemed member of the Supervisory Association of Ontario. Heather is well known and widely admired for her proficiency and professionalism and credits her success to her passion for helping people and to her dedication to the provision of quality education.  She is equally accomplished on a personal level and maintains an impressive philanthropic profile within the community.  Heather supports the Windsor Essex Children’s Association and donates to a variety of charities that benefit education.  Away from her professional duties, Heather enjoys gardening, reading educational journals and spending time with family.
