Sept. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- Larry Laycock is an attorney with Workman Nydegger, a Salt Lake City, Utah firm that specializes in creating intellectual property portfolios that deliver measurable value and concrete results.  Larry has been with the firm for more than a decade and is a senior member of its litigation practice group. He has extensive experience as lead trial counsel and in the handling and successful resolution of intellectual property disputes prior to litigation and trial. Larry’s litigation practice also includes cases involving electronic data storage, medical devices, nutritional supplements, exercise equipment, thin film deposition and complex chemical and polymer science.  He has successfully represented clients before arbitration and mediation panels and coordinated enforcement of international patent portfolios throughout Europe and Asia. Larry is admitted to practice in the Utah Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the European Patent Office, the UK High Court of Justice, Chancery Division Patents Court and the United States Supreme Court. Larry is also an adjunct faculty member of the BYU Law School, where he instructs courses on intellectual property litigation practice.  In addition to publishing a number of articles on litigation topics, he provides his expertise to such esteemed organizations as the Order of the Barristers and the Utah State and International Bar associations.  Larry graduated cum laude from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, earning a JD in law.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Larry is equally dynamic within the Salt Lake City community and supports the Warm Hands Warm Hearts Foundation as well as several local charities that benefit the underprivileged.  Larry is also is an accomplished author who has published three short stories.  Away from the Workman Nydegger offices, he enjoys spending time with family and reading legal journals.
