The components employed – silica oxide, sodium, potassium, calcium, alumina and fluorine – bring a characteristically brilliant white to these plates, while the tempering procedure increases their resistance to knocks and abrupt temperature changes. And opalescent glass plates last longer than normal glass plates.

The chemical composition of opalescent glass makes for glass plates with a totally non-porous surface, making them considerably more hygienic to use.
Frequent exposure to dishwashing machines or microwave ovens fails to spoil the shine and colours of the Triade collection.
