Scianna is the assistant vice president of media relations for St. Johns University, one of America's leading Catholic universities, recognized for its superb academic programs, diverse student life, BIG EAST excitement and New York vitality. Dominic joined SJU in 2005, bringing over a decade of experience in media relations acquired through positions in journalism, public relations and event coordination.  Dominic is credited with arranging the NCAA draft pick presentations and participated in several high profile projects.  In his current role, Dominic is responsible for external media relations, contacting newspapers about special events and organizing promotional campaigns.  Dominic holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Columbia College of Chicago and is a member of the NY Press Club.  He is active within the Queens community and volunteers to coach Little League baseball.  Dominic enjoys his free time by playing baseball and football and is an avid reader of Forbes.
