Gingerbread LittleVersity's Teachers Walk the Red Carpet

May 20, 2008 - PRLog -- Fuquay-Varina, NC - The staff at Gingerbread LittleVersity, a family-owned childcare facility, celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week the week of Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9.  The theme of Teacher Appreciation Week was, “A Walk Down the Red Carpet.” Each day, the teachers received themed gifts such as movie tickets, a popcorn box full of items, a car wash and pampering to prepare them for a special Red Carpet Evening.  The Red Carpet Evening included dinner, a limo ride, presentation of "Grammy" awards and a special walk down the red carpet.  

“Children and teachers alike really get a kick out of Teacher Appreciation Week,” said Kelli Ketner, owner of Gingerbread LittleVersity.  “It gives us all the opportunity to take a step back and say ‘thanks’ to all the dedicated teachers here at Gingerbread who pour a tremendous amount of love and effort into their work.”

Parents joined children and teachers to help celebrate during Teacher Appreciation Week.
