Jan. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- With eyes focused on progress, DegreeZero has captured the likeability of his peers.  As the producer’s first Trance single, “Lifted,” was released to dance floors across the globe, the unreleased Progressive track, “Matador Crew,” reached number 48 on the Balance Record Pool Chart.  The charting, “Matador Crew,” slated for an early February release, debuted at Balance Record Pool during the beginning of the New Year.  It combines elements of Progressive, Trance and Minimal to create a hypnotic journey into melody and rhythm.  With above average feedback coming from Pool DJ’s , some comments have been, good production, good ideas, nice percussion and great; a sign that DegreeZero’s exposure is widening and DJs and electronic music entrepreneurs alike are taking notice.

The Balance Record Pool, based out of Orlando, Florida, garners reactions and critiques from the top global DJs and producers in the electronic music industry.  Each week, the members of the pool, which include musicians, labels and members of the media, preview the unreleased tracks and offer comments and decisions on whether or not the tracks will be included in their DJ sets, radio shows or reviewed for press.  One reactor, the United Kingdom’s, DJ Sasha Le Monnier, will include “Matador Crew” by DegreeZero in her monthly internet radio programs, Gravitation Digital (www.danceradio.gr), which is every third Wednesday of each month at 9PM GMT and Coulomb Muzik (www.di.fm) airing every second Monday of each month at 7PM GMT, with other stations to be announced.

During this momentous time DegreeZero is busy with the production, publishing and record label duties of the companies, Lefholz Publishing and DegreeZero Records.  Assured to become no less busy, the New Year promises to bring more global dance releases, each slated monthly for the remainder of the year.  For now, DegreeZero is poised to become more of an influential force in the electronic music front, with endless productions aimed at a full-length artist album and a consistent workload rivaling that of industry leaders. As DZ puts it, “Watching the industry change daily is a full time job - couple that with a production schedule, publishing and label duties and a bit of graphic design work and where did the day go?”

Also worth noting, is that during the last quarter of 2007, DegreeZero picked up additional licensing contracts for the first two artist EP releases, “Ob-Session” and “Beneath the Surface”.  Once again with the television production company, Bunim/Murray Productions, for consideration in the Real World (MTV) and Bad Girls Club (Oxygen) and with PBS, in the reality show, “Roadtrip Nation”.  The PBS show, which is now in post-production, will begin airing during the first part of ’08.  The premise of the show is to send freshly graduated college professionals out to find meaning and principles to their newly impending career paths.  For more information on “Matador Crew,” “Lifted” and everything DegreeZero please visit www.degreezerorecords.com or visit www.balancerecordpool.com  for the charts and www.juno.co.uk , www.dance-tunes.com , www.trackitdown.net , www.dancerecords.com and www.beatsdigital.com to purchase the singles for your listening pleasure or inclusion in progressive underground DJ sets.
