AXIGEN Powers IPSYSTEMS Seminar in the Philippines

(http://www.ipsystems.ph), organized today the “Your Next-Level Mail Server” seminar. The event took place in Manila at the Astoria Plaza hotel, and targeted ISPs and other local companies.

IT decision makers of more than 20 companies took part in this interactive seminar, aimed at getting Philippine businesses acquainted to the latest high-end technologies in the market to help them build complete, robust and scalable messaging solutions.

The event focused on introducing the AXIGEN Mail Server, its main features and benefits, its portability on several hardware architectures especially that of IBM’s x series servers, and its seamless integration with the BitDefender Antivirus solution. The seminar consisted of three software presentations held by seasoned professionals from IPSYSTEMS, AXIGEN and IBM and a live demo of the AXIGEN Mail Server functionalities.

“Our main objectives for this seminar were to increase awareness for the AXIGEN Mail Server among the enterprises here in the Philippines and to generate a sustainable growth in sales. We are confident that the fresh features of AXIGEN’s latest version have captured the attention and the interest of all participants,” said Patricia B. Celis, Vice President of IPSYSTEMS Inc, who further revealed that over 80% of the attendees requested for more detailed follow-ups after the seminar.

AXIGEN has recently won the ServerWatch 2007 Product Excellence Award for the Communications Server category, after having competed with four other messaging solutions – Zimbra, CommuniGate, Merak and Lotus.
