High Five to Crepe Cellar Kitchen & Pub and Fu’s Custom Tattoos

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - April 22, 2014 - PRLog -- After five years in business, Crepe Cellar and Fu’s Custom Tattoos have something to celebrate. The two businesses opened on the same day, a half a decade ago, in the midst of a recession.

It was a bold time to be opening doors, for both businesses, but each has built a solid foundation in the little town of NoDa. NoDa is known for it’s eclectic charm, filled with independent restaurants, bars and shops - and it’s inherent walkability as a community.

“We’re lucky to have found a home like NoDa,” says Jeff Tonidandel, one of the owners of Crepe Cellar. “It has been ideal for us to grow along with the neighborhood and become a part of the community here.”

The independent restaurant finds itself as the top ranked gastropub on Urbanspoon. As a European-inspired gastropub, Crepe Cellar serves savory and sweet crepes, and a host of entrees like Fish & Chips, Guiness Stew, hand-cut twice-fried French fries and daily fish specials.

Fu’s Custom Tattoo shop does exactly that. Custom tattoos. And they welcome walk-ins, but prefer call-aheads.

The two businesses are separated in NoDa by award-winning craft beer bar, Growlers Pourhouse. In fact, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, Crepe Cellar and Fu’s will be celebrating their five year birthdays at Growlers, beginning at 7pm.

“It seemed like the perfect place to host a party - since its right smack in between the two businesses,” says Tonidandel.

Beginning at 7pm, Growlers Pourhouse will be tapping a keg of Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Avery’s Maharaja Double IPA in celebration of its neighbors. They’ll also have a DJ in house until 10pm.
Walk-ins at the party Wednesday night are certainly welcome.
