New Sign Bench for Parks and Streetscapes.

CHEROKEE, Iowa - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- We’ve designed the Sign Bench to be a public use bench with many durable features. Two bench seating styles are available – contour style or the classic seat/backrest style. Both benches can be portable/surface mounted or permanently installed with embedded frame posts.  Steel is used for all bench components – frames, seat and sign frame. The contour bench seat is cut from a steel plate. The classic bench seat can be expanded steel or perforated steel. The bench seat and sign frame are thermoplastic coated in your choice of color.

The sign frame includes a backing board of ¾-inch thick marine grade plywood. Our recommended sign material is Alumilite aluminum laminate with a ¼-inch thick polycarbonate core. Pilot Rock Signs can digitally print your optional custom sign on 3M vinyl, apply it to the Alumilite and finish it with a protective laminate.  You can get your first custom sign and replacement signs printed by Pilot Rock Signs or your local sign company.

The top cap of the sign frame is hinged to lift open for easy access to the sign for installation and removal. This top cap can also be padlocked closed to secure the sign in the frame.

The contour bench offers the largest sign – 24 inches tall by 4 or 6 or 8 feet long (depending on the length of your bench). The classic bench sign is 16 inches tall by 4 or 6 or 8 feet long.  So you can choose your bench style and sign size to fit your needs.
