George Bush High School's National Honor Society volunteers to help Houston families in need

Bush High School's National Honor Society, sponsored by teacher Frances Sisemore, is doing their part in giving back to the community by participating in this year's 1st annual "Meaning of Thanks-GIVING" fundraiser hosted by non-profit Tied to Solutions.  Recently, Tied to Solutions, asked for community volunteers as well as donations to help make this a successful event and Bush NHS students answered the call.  The students have organized a can food drive on campus which will be donated to the recipients of Tied to Solution's "Meaning of Thanksgiving" fundraiser.    

Tied to Solution's event will provide a minimum of 30 needy families all the ingredients necessary to create a Thanksgiving feast in the comfort of their own homes; however, this can not be made possible without the help of the Greater Houston community. Join Tied to Solutions and the members of Bush's National Honor Society to make this Thanksgiving a special day for families in need. From the turkey and the dressing to the cranberry sauce and dinner rolls, your donations are greatly needed.
