Bilingual OB/GYN Joins the Kaldas Center Team in Neenah

NEENAH, Wis. - Sept. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Rafuls is an award-winning obstetrician renowned for her research in obstetrics and infant health. During her residency at the TriHealth hospital system in Ohio she was granted two prestigious awards: Resident of the Year Award for Obstetrics and Resident of the Year Award for Excellence in Scholarship (2013 and 2014).

Dr. Rafuls is looking forward to practicing her patient-centered care philosophy that encourages shared decision making. She sees herself as a guide, allowing her patients to determine the best course of action while making sure they are fully informed on what procedures may involve.

“My driving force is to help women reach their full potential both medically and personally. I highly value compassion and believe that healing involves every aspect of my patients’ lives,” said Dr. Rafuls.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Following graduation, she acquired her doctorate at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Her affiliations include the Wisconsin Medical Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

When not helping women at the Kaldas Center, Dr. Rafuls enjoys staying active through dance, traveling and cooking. On quieter activities she enjoys include reading, writing and watching movies.
