Charity Race Dedicated To Bringing More Families to Morgan's Wonderland

First Annual Tap-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk, benefiting Project Angel Fares, a non-profit charity aiding special needs children and their families, is successfully mashing together craft beer and running to support special needs children.

SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Project Angel Fares will conduct its First Annual Tab-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk at Maverick Park, 1000 Broadway Street, San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.

The Tap-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk is a five (5) kilometer race benefiting the children and families of Project Angel Fares. Project Angel Fares is a non-profit organization in San Antonio, which provides special need children and their families with trips to Morgan's Wonderland. Morgan's Wonderland, located in San Antonio, Texas, was created to provide a safe, clean and beautiful environment free of economic barriers that all individuals, regardless of age, special need or disability, can come to and enjoy. It truly is a one-of-a-kind place for children.

“Project Angel Fares was formed a couple years with the goal of providing special friends with special dreams,” stated Project Angel Fares Founder and President, Kevin Johnson.

The Tab-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk will be held in conjunction with the San Antonio Current’s Beer Festival on Saturday, October 18th, 2014, from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The Tap-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk route will begin behind Maverick Park, then continue over the Hayes Street bridge (over the new Alamo Beer Company brewery), through San Antonio’s East Side and then circle back to return to Maverick Park.
