Whiskey Red's Announces New Menus, Renovations and Summertime Events on the Water

LOS ANGELES - July 9, 2014 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES, July 7, 2014) - This summer, Fisherman's Village will come alive with weekly events at Whiskey Red's that celebrate the solstice and the unbeatable view from the restaurant's spacious waterfront patio in Marina del Rey. Starting in July, Whiskey Red's will launch two live music series on Wednesday and Sunday nights, DJs on Saturday nights and Whiskey and Cigars night on Fridays. Guests can also enjoy new menus for summer and DineLA, featured summer cocktails and recent renovations to the space.

"This summer will be one to remember at Whiskey Red's with new dishes to savor and fun weekly events," said General Manager Ricardo Capra. "We've knocked down some walls to open up the interior so guests can see the beautiful harbor from every viewpoint inside. With these updates, plus new booth furniture and patio decor, our restaurant is the premiere destination for waterfront entertainment and dining on the Westside."

Whiskey Red's new summer menu celebrates the taste of the sea, with mouthwatering dishes like the Lobster Roll, Dungeness Crab Salad, Pistachio-Crusted Halibut and vegetarian options like the Baby Kale Salad. Whiskey Red's has also developed an "Endless Summer" cocktail menu, featuring seasonal flavors, including a Kickin' Cucumber Margarita and Strawberry Fields Mule. Also premiering this month is a $35 prix fixe DineLA menu, which is available from July 14-27 during the citywide Restaurant Week.

Starting in July, Whiskey Red's will kick off new nights of live music and jazz, weekend dancing and a night dedicated to whiskey and cigar lovers.

Sunset Live! 
This one-of-a- kind waterfont music series will take place on Wednesday nights from 7-10 p.m. and feature extended happy hour until the sun goes down - literally. Whiskey & Cigar Fridays

Whiskey Red's will break open their humidor every Friday and offer specials for whiskey lovers and tobacco aficionados with $5 whiskey drinks and select cigars on the outdoor smoking patio. The last Friday of every month, from 5-10pm, guests can enjoy whiskey tastings and a lesson from a cigar maker from the Hollywood Smoke Shop who will educate guests on how to select quality cigars and offer complimentary cigars (while supplies last). DJs and Waves

Bring girls' night out to the water listen to the sounds of local DJ's spinning all night every Saturday! Dance under the stars and enjoy Whiskey Red's special summer dinner and cocktail menus.

Sunday Jazz Suppers

Take in the SoCal sunshine and the sparkling Marina to the sounds of local jazz bands and stay to watch the sky turn pink. Starting at 7 p.m. on Sundays, guests can enjoy a comfortable lounge atmosphere and $35 prix-fixe menu of Whiskey Red's favorites on the patio from 7-10 p.m.
