Inktel Teams with Boston Market and Volunteers at His House Children’s Home

MIAMI - June 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Inktel Contact Center Solutions, a leading global provider of contact center services, spent the day Saturday volunteering at the Home in Miami for abused, abandoned and neglected children. This is the first initiative chosen in the company’s WISH program.

WISH is an employee dream granting initiative—a program to grant the “wishes” of Inktel’s employees. WISH, which stands for “Where Inktel Spreads Hope,” invites employees to share “wishes” of all shapes and sizes for a chance to be granted by the company. Whether team members have a need to be filled, a goal to be achieved, a dream to be fulfilled, or a cause to be supported, Inktel is doing its part to make those wishes happen.

Inktel’s first wishwas granted to Milerka Lantigua, who is very passionate about helping the underprivileged, abused, and abandoned youth in Miami. Her wish entailed that Inktel employees collect a monetary donation and then spend some time volunteering at a home for these children.

40 Inktel team members spent the morning Saturday painting and landscaping the grounds of the home. In the afternoon, they spent time hanging out with the kids and playing games.

Inktel would like to especially thank Boston Market for teaming with the WISH initiative and preparing food for the event. The Boston Market donated to Inktel’s volunteer efforts by donating food to His House Children’s Home.

“This is something we really believe in”, says CEO Ricky Arriola, “any chance we have to help out our community, we’re going to take it…It was a joy to hang out with these kids; they were an inspiration to me and the team.”

Inktel employees have already expressed anticipation for the next WISH to be granted. The company will “grant” one wish per quarter.
