John J. Fox Lectures at Seminar Sponsored by the San Antonio Black Lawyers’ Association

SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- San Antonio, TX – Attorney John J. Fox lectured at a continuing legal education seminar sponsored by the San Antonio Black Lawyers’ Association (SABLA) on the following topic, “How to Prevent & Cure Driver’s License Suspensions.” The title of the seminar was “Criminal Defense 101: What You Need to Know to Practice in County Court.”

Attorney Fox’s speech covered a series of license issues which outlined various methods by which the proposed suspensions could be fought legally:

· Restricted Licenses
· Occupational Driver’s Licenses
· Driving While License Suspended Suspensions
· Out-of-State License Suspensions

The CLE seminar was held on September 27, 2013 in the Central Jury Room of the Bexar County Justice Center. This year marks the second year in a row that attorney Fox has been requested to speak at the seminar which is designed primarily to be a “nuts and bolts” seminar for newly licensed attorneys.

The San Antonio Black Lawyers’ Association assists in the development of programs which are designed to address various problems experienced throughout the state of Texas. SABLA members sit on a board which was created to address the racial disproportionality plaguing the state’s foster care system.
