Metropolitan Fine Arts – “Dance Your Heart Out” In February; Donates To Amer. Heart Assoc.

Join MFAC Adult Classes in February; 10 Percent Donated to American Heart Association
 
Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- In honor of National Heart Month, Metropolitan Fine Arts Center (MFAC) of Alexandria and Fairfax Station, Va. is featuring their “Dance Your Heart Out” campaign, offering unlimited adult dance and mind/body classes throughout February for a special price of $110. And MFAC will donate 10 percent of all “Dance Your Heart Out class fees to the American Heart Association. Schedules can be viewed at www.metrofinearts.com.

MFAC’s “Dance Your Heart Out” campaign includes all adult dance, yoga and MetroBarre classes. A regular adult class fee is 10 classes for $130. The February “Dance Your Heart Out” program provides unlimited adult class access at a significantly discounted set fee of $110 with 10 percent donated to the American Heart Association.

According to the American Heart Association, while heart disease and stroke kill one in every 3.7 men, one in 2.4 women lose their lives to heart disease and stroke – the number 1 and number 3 killers of women.

“Dance is one of the best ways to keep your heart in tip-top shape and we’re thrilled to be able to give back to the American Heart Association as they continue to raise awareness about heart disease” said Melissa Dobbs, founder and executive director of Metropolitan Fine Arts Center of Alexandria and Fairfax Station, Va. “We know that staying active is part of good heart health…dance is not only an aerobic workout, but it’s a fun way to burn some calories,” said Dobbs.
