“Employees and students feel good when they know their school cares about giving back to the community, we care about lives outside of the school.” said Linda Dewitt, director of Career Services for the colleges. “Holding a fundraiser gives each of us the opportunity to help this Christmas season.”
From December 10 to December 21, the schools will be calling upon students, staff and faculty to reach into their pockets and dig under their sofa cushions to donate funds for the homeless resource center that serves an average of 400 Tulsans per day.
Every dollar donated will be matched twice by the company, tripling the donation. The schools hope everyone will be encouraged to give what they can and help change lives this Christmas.
