Violinist Caroline Goulding to Perform Benefit Concert for the Atlantic Classical Orchestra

The Atlantic Classical Orchestra (ACO) will present “Fresh Notes: Caroline Goulding in Concert “ this December. Ms. Goulding has been described as a “skilled violinist well on her way to an important career” by The Washington Post.
 
Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- The Atlantic Classical Orchestra (ACO) will present “Fresh Notes: Caroline Goulding in Concert “ this December. Ms. Goulding who has been described as a “skilled violinist well on her way to an important career” by The Washington Post, will perform two benefit concerts as a thank you for the support of the ACO throughout her career.
Lending a festive ambiance in intimate settings, Fresh Notes concerts will be presented by The Friends of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra in two venues: Vero Beach and Stuart.
The first concert will be held on December 11, 2012 at the Orchid Island Beach Club from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  The concert will be followed by a meet and greet reception with the artist; cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
On Wednesday, December 12, a second benefit concert will be held at Sailfish Point Country Club. The concert and reception will be from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. The concert will begin promptly at 5:45 and will be followed by a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception with the artist. The Stuart concert is sponsored by Price Wealth Management UBS.
Tickets for both events are $125 and may be purchased by contacting the ACO office at 772-460-0850.
Lauded for her "impressive technical polish and musical maturity" (Gramophone), Caroline was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2011. In 2009, she won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions and was the recipient of the Helen Armstrong Violin Fellowship. That same year, she received a Grammy nomination for her debut recording on the Telarc label.
Highlights of the 2012-2013 season include debuts in Germany, Japan and China, as well as with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, California Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Camerata Chicago and the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra.
Concert-goers will recall Goulding performed with the ACO in 2011 (Bruch Violin Concerto) and in 2003 when she was only 15, performing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. She has performed as a soloist with some of North America’s premier orchestras including The Cleveland Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, National Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Houston Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Detroit Symphony, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Cleveland Pops and the Cincinnati Pops.
Caroline began studying the violin at the age of three-and-a-half with Julia Kurtyka and currently studies with Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory.

The Atlantic Classical Orchestra is the only professional orchestra on the Treasure Coast.
