Oceanside Chamber to Host Annual Awards and Recognition Luncheon - Dozens of Members to Be Honored

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 5, 2012 - The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will introduce its new officers, recognize member anniversaries and present awards to businesses in six different categories at its Awards and Recognition Banquet on July 18, 2012. The luncheon will be held at the El Camino Country Club and is sponsored by Genentech, Tri-City Medical Center, and San Diego Gas & Electric. Table sponsors are North County Times, Waste Management and Scripps Health.

David L. Nydegger, CEO and President of the Chamber, will thank outgoing Chair Debbie Allen for her service and introduce Jerry Salyer as the 2012-2013 Chair of the Board of Directors.

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest business organizations in San Diego County, established in 1896. Last year, the Chamber decided to include an annual recognition element to the luncheon to recognize 5 year increment member anniversaries. This year the Chamber will recognize more than 95 members with anniversaries from 5 to 85 years, with North County Times being the longest time member. Business of the Year
