One Step Away is comprised of Boston area musicians, now attending local colleges and schools: Adam Carrington (Andover, Lead Vocalist, UNH); Terence Healy (Wilmington, Guitar, UMass Lowell); Mike Nuzzolo (Andover, Guitar, Tufts University) and Ben Trudeau (Beverly, Drums, Pingree).
One Step Away was introduced to KISS 108 through their winning of the Clear Channel Communications iHeartRadio ‘Get Discovered!’ contest last summer. That win earned them radio play, dozens of interviews, and a coveted performance slot on the MDA Telethon which was broadcast nationally on all the major network syndicates including; ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CWN, MNT, IND, TELEMUNDO, WCRB and WBZ. They have received many other accolades as well for their full-length studio album “For the Broken”, including the Break the Band contest and a nomination for the International Music Awards best of “Pop Rock” albums in 2011.
One Step Away is no stranger to the stage, having performed with big name artists on stages across the country like Universal Studios Hollywood, Fox Theater, MGM Grand and more. One Step Away has played alongside Drake Bell, Nate and Alec Wolf (Naked Brothers band), Jordin Sparks, Il Volo, Jon Secada, Rich Sambora, Greyson Chance, A Rocket to the Moon, Cute is What We Aim For, Early Morning Blues (with Brian Johnson formerly of Boys Like Girls) and Darius Rucker.
What’s next for One Step Away? They have several songs written towards their next album release and will be heading soon into the recording studio. In addition, they will be doing some light touring. As Kiss 108 DJ, Producer & Singer Rich DiMare announced One Step Away last September on the MDA Telethon: “This is their first National TV performance and I am betting it won’t be the last.” Check out One Step Away on http://www.Facebook.com/
