Brookline Drive Releases its Sophomore Album: Remember When
Connecticut’s Pop | Rock Band Brookline Drive releases their new album: Remember When
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Brookline Drive: Jordan Hillman; Spencer Hillman; Rich Paquet; Ben Lemieux
PRLog (Press Release) - May 23, 2012 - Connecticut’s Brookline Drive announces the release of their new album: “Remember When”. Within just one year of its formation, Brookline Drive is selling out headlining shows across New England as one of the best up and coming Pop/Rock bands. People drive hundreds of miles to hear the irresistible ear-candy harmonies, impeccable musicianship and dynamic showmanship. Reminiscent of beach-boy-esque harmonies, the new four song EP of originals is everything those fans will expect: a mix of sun-drenched hook-laden songs. The album vocals were recorded by Christian Medice of NY (Hollywood Ending, Weatherstar and more) with other tracks self-recorded and produced.
Originally formed as an acoustic project by Ben Lemieux (Vocals, Enfield CT) and Rich Paquet (Drums/Vocals/Acoustic Guitar, East Hartford CT), the duo quickly started turning and heads and grew into a full band as they added brothers Spencer and Jordan Hillman (Guitar/Vocals and Bass/Vocals/Keyboards, West Warwick, RI) to the lineup. Brookline Drive may be new to the music scene, but they are far from inexperienced. Their members have played with or done stints in bands such as The Best Week Ever (PureVolume’s #2 Unsigned Artist of 2010), We Shot The Moon (The Militia Group/Afternoon Records) and Sparks Will Fly (Sold over 8,000 CDs independently touring nationally with the Vans Warped Tour).
The band’s explosive multi-instrument lineup features four talented vocalists whose vocal interplay and harmonies are unlike anything out there today. Drawing influences from all over the musical spectrum, Brookline Drive’s four talented artists have created a unique, catchy sound that makes for an incredibly exciting live show.
Now with their first full band release, the members of Brookline Drive are ready to hit the national road in 2012 and prove themselves not only as talented musicians but as one of the hardest working bands around. Tour dates with Burnham (Island Def Jam) are now starting to be announced. Brookline Drive also indicates plans are now being made for another album before the year’s end.
