Rich DiMare – Boston’s Rat Pack Crooner and Kiss 108 DJ Graces the United Way Gala

PRLog (Press Release) - May 7, 2012 - The United Way supports so many with its community outreaches and events.   On Saturday, May 12, 2012 they are holding a ‘Mad-Men’ –esque fun night of entertainment and dancing all for a great cause:   Youth Venture.   The United Way invites all to:   “Join more than 400 of Boston’s most fabulous young philanthropists for a gala salute to the mad, mad world of the 1960s.”

Hosting and singing will be Kiss 108 Personality, DJ and Producer Rich DiMare of Boston.   Don’t expect much Top 40 from Rich’s singing, best described as ‘crooning.’     Close your eyes while listening to DiMare and he will immediately transcend you to that different era where the 'Rat Pack' Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis graced our stages with ‘smooth-as-silk’ passionate vocals.  

Maroon 5 singer and NBC TV’s star in “The Voice”, Adam Levine, stated “Rich Dimare sounds better than Michael Buble.”    

Rich DiMare’s vocals are a perfect match for this ‘Mad-Men Lifestyle' party with cocktail attire suggested, but not required.   The United Way indicates:  “Most men will be dressed like dapper Don Draper and the females will be in their best 60s-themed outfits inspired by the show’s characters like Betty, Peggy and Joan.”  

The United Way ‘Emerging Leaders 5th Annual Gala’ will be held at the beautiful Artists for Humanity EpiCenter located in the Fort Points Arts District of Boston on 100 West Second Street.   Ticket prices are $100 per ticket (single purchase) and $90 for groups (for purchase of six or more tickets).  For more details check:  http://el.supportunitedway.org/gala12
