April 1, 2012 marked the launch of the Dave’s Pizza Star Campaign. Patrons can visit Dave’s Pizza at 1819 29th Avenue South Homewood, AL 35209 and purchase a decorated Make-A-Wish Star, at the minimum purchase price of $1.00, which will be displayed in the windows of the restaurant. All proceeds from the sale of the stars will benefit Make-A-Wish®
Georgia and Alabama.
Make-A-Wish®
Georgia and Alabama has been granting wishes locally since 1995. “With nearly 200 pending wishes in Alabama, we are so excited to have local partners join us in helping children with life-threatening medical conditions have their most heartfelt wishes come true,” says Nora Banks, the Alabama Coordinator of External Events. The Star Campaign will run through the month of April.
