Where: Georgia Southern University Anderson Sports Complex

When:  Saturday, October 27, 2012. Check-in, entertainment and festivities begin at 9:00am and Walk begins at 10:00am.

Additional information:  The Statesboro region's Season of Wishes begins on Make A Difference Day, Saturday, October 27th, with the Walk for Wishes.  95% of the funds raised from this event and fall campaign activities will benefit Make-A-Wish Georgia to support granting the wishes of local children with life threatening medical conditions.   Join fundraising teams from across the area to share the power of a wish™.

About Make-A-Wish

Make-A-Wish Georgia is the local chapter of the national Make-A-Wish network.  We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  According to a 2011 study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed say that a wish come true can affect a child’s health outcomes.
