With the opening of the 2012 season,
Vermont Farm Tours is launching innovative new tours for businesses and professional groups who are seeking unique and engaging team building and recreational opportunities.  Workplace wellness campaigns can make a splash by offering employees a bicycle farm tour of the scenic and accessible Champlain Islands.  Other offerings include a farm-based cheese making workshop, a van-tour of Vermont’s award winning wineries, and for those companies that prefer to hold their events on-site, Vermont Farm Tours can bring the farm food to the office with guided pairings and tastings.

Vermont Farm Tours is a culinary tour company based in Burlington, VT that offers personal tours led by local food and wine expert, Chris Howell.   Rooted in his experiences as a farmer, educator, and community organizer, Howell provides an unforgettable journey through the local terroir and cultivates an authentic interest in local foods by immersing guests in the connection between taste, place, and producer.  

Though he eagerly celebrates the pleasure of local food and farms, Howell also sees farm touring as a critical tool for building community and sustainable local economies.
