For a large number of employers across the United States, the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) plays a crucial role in regards to a safe and healthful work environment. OSHA extends from manual labor jobsites, such as construction or automotive work, to the hospitality industry, and everything in between with 11 or more workers.

Enacted in 1970, OSHA was created to strive for safer standards in the workplace. Like any government-controlled item, OSHA also requires proper documentation. Guidelines and regulations specify the ins and outs for employers, and should be properly followed should an impromptu site visit spring up.
