Chicago Area Hooters' "Wings For The Children" To Benefit Local Kids This Month

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 6, 2012 - During the month of February, Chicago area Hooters Restaurants will again donate a portion of their Nearly World Famous Chicken Wings sales to the Wings for the Children program benefitting Holy Family School's Tuition Assistance Fund.  

Every Tuesday in February, Hooters Restaurants throughout the area will donate one-third of all guests’ chicken wing purchases to fund school tuition for underprivileged children in the community.  

“We started this program in 1992 as a way to help local children get the wings they need to fly," said Hooters Inc. Chief Operating Officer Sal Melilli.

"A good education is the cornerstone of a young person's future," he said, "and if we at Hooters can help give kids here in our local community a leg up, help put them on the road to better lives, better futures, that's what it's all about."
