RTR Celebrates Teamwork and Determination in a Fantastic Rugby World Cup Finale.

Oct. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- England’s campaign in the 2011 Rugby World Cup may not have lived up to the expectations of the nation but there is no doubt that the competition, labeled boring in the early stages, heated up towards the end. RTR, an outsource sales and marketing company based in Manchester, watched, along with the rest of the world as two fantastic semi-finals were fought out and finally after a 24 year wait, New Zealand returned home with the goods.

“At RTR we thoroughly supported Wales in their semi-final clash with France, it was heartbreaking to see them go so close losing 8-9.” The controversial sending off of Sam Warburton has been debated heavily but RTR feels that it does nothing more than detract from what was a hard-fought, fantastic display of grit from both sides.

The second semi-final between Australia and New Zealand was an incredible grudge match ‘you could see the steely determination in their eyes as they faced off at the beginning of the game. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric.” New Zealand rocketed to a blistering start that the Aussies simply couldn’t recover from. The final score was convincing, 20-6.

RTR Manchester believes that France reaching the final was probably not something many people would have predicted and New Zealand went in bookies favourite by a long way. “Well France showed them that’s for sure! Although New Zealand won, they looked like two evenly matched teams and France really rose to the occasion. No one can doubt that they deserved their runners-up medal. A final score of 8-7? It doesn’t get much closer than that!”

RTR would like to congratulate New Zealand on both their success and also on hosting such a fantastic tournament. “It’s easy to overlook all the incredible teamwork that goes on behind the scene, they are an inspiration to us all and we should celebrate that as well.”
