PRLog -- Shea Rose has appeared in Essence, People, InTouch, Performer and OK Magazine, and the home page of PUMA recently she was hand-picked by Queen Latifah to be " one of the hottest, up and coming female artists in 2010" for COVER GIRL's Queen Collection feature she is also featured in a Queen Collection webisode sponsored by COVER GIRL "We need to make sure their (female artists) voices are heard," says Queen Latifah. Shea was one of five women picked from more than 600 music videos submitted which were viewed by Queen Latifah as part of the selection process. Shea Rose is a Boston native graduate (music major) of Berklee College of Music. She has been described as the female Lenny Kravitz meets Lauryn Hill. Rose along with four other women were flown to Miami for a photo shoot with celebrity photographer Peggy Sirota and recorded a remake of Queen Latifah's hit anthem U.N.I.T.Y with music producers Cool and Dre. Shea Rose was then signed by Covergirl to be a spokesperson for the Ignite your Persona promotional campaign for the CoverGirl Queen Collection and she was invited to the 2010 BET music Awards which she attended. The winners of UNITY reignited were: Amber, Christel, Gina, Naakira and Shea Rose.
