April 4, 2011 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, Fla. — (April 4, 2011) — Today Brijot® announced it will be offering in-booth demonstrations of passive millimeter wave (PMMW) whole-body scanners during the upcoming RILA Loss Prevention, Auditing and Safety Conference in Orlando, FL April 11-14, 2011. The company states it will have its GEN 2® and SafeScreen® systems in the Brijot exhibition (booth no. 500) to demonstrate the detection of concealed objects under clothing.

Brijot’s Loss and Asset Prevention Solution is one of the company’s fastest growing offerings. This solution delivers high-throughput scanners that are easily integrated into existing loss and asset prevention security procedures. With the ability to detect concealed objects hidden under clothing, Brijot systems can detect concealed objects being hidden by employees. Security personnel in warehouses or logistic centers are better able to screen for employee theft while still effectively managing traffic flow, and minimizing time delays at checkpoints. Companies are also able to protect their assets while protecting employee health and respecting privacy concerns.

The company’s presence at RILA comes on the heels of its recently held successful webinar March 31, 2011. The webinar, titled “Leveraging Whole-Body Imaging to Improve Loss Prevention”, offered attendees best practices to successfully integrate passive whole-body scanners into their loss prevention program by sharing several client success stories such as Best Buy Canada and Sears Canada. The webinar, available for download on-demand, can be accessed at http://video.webcasts.com/events/lprm001/37821/.

As an added bonus to the company’s in-booth demonstrations, Brijot encourages RILA attendees to bring sample products to test for detection. Marisol Casablanca, Vice President of Sales for the Americas with Brijot states, “Our systems can detect a wide array of objects, but we feel attendees will be better able to assess if we can help them resolve their specific employee theft issues by testing objects that are of most concern.” Casablanca goes on to explain that attendees can ship these test items to Brijot’s headquarters, located just outside Orlando, FL where the conference is being held next week, as an added convenience. To schedule an in-booth demonstration appointment or for more information, attendees should send an email to LP@brijot.com.
