Gourmet menu spotlighted with 3-course, $20 winter-long Chef's Lunch Special at Signature Room

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Step out of the office and into the clouds for a gourmet, three-course lunch special offered at The Signature Room at the 95th served Mondays through Thursdays, from January 3 through March 31, 2011.  Served in lieu of the lunch buffet, the three-course menu created by Executive Chef Patrick Sheerin features a soup or salad starter, choice of entrée and a house-made dessert selection, all for just $20. This gourmet lunch option provides delicious cuisine and exceptional value complemented by an unsurpassed view, high above Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

“Our hearty lunch options allow you to take the chill off winter and recharge, 95 stories above Michigan Avenue,” said Angela Roman, director of operations for the upscale dining destination.   “Whether you’re entertaining clients or simply taking a break from the office routine, lunch with the view we offer provides a new perspective on one’s day,” she added.

Fresh menu selections are offered daily and may include first course starters including Chicken Caesar Salad or Spicy Chili con Carne, entrees including a Smoked Salmon Sandwich with chive cream cheese on rye bread, Crispy Fried Chicken with buttermilk biscuits, or Seared Seafood Cakes with whole grain mustard butter, and desserts ranging from Carrot Cake with a sour cream glaze and orange confit, a White and Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake with raspberry sauce, or a Selection of Ice Cream or sorbet.

The $20, 3-course Chef’s Lunch Special will be served Monday through Thursday during the regular lunch hours of 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
