“The Daley Institute events are nationally recognized forums with a unique format that appeals to business leaders,” said Daniel P. Mehan, Missouri Chamber president and CEO. “The programs are unique in that there are no lectures and no sales pitches. These forums give business owners a way to learn about the latest changes in policy and the marketplace, and provide the opportunity for in-depth discussion with other area business leaders on ways to address these challenges.”
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and the Daley Institute will be bringing this event to St Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia and Cape Girardeau over the next year. Each month there will be a new topic based on surveys of business owners across the state. The main goal of these Business Innovation meetings is to find solutions to today’s business challenges. The first of the series was last Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, in St Louis. More than 70 people attended the discussion on challenges and best practices of “Sourcing New Markets.”
