Celtic Bank recently announced that it has hired Dan O’Meara as regional vice president/SBA business development for Colorado. “Moving into Colorado was an easy decision, knowing that Dan O’Meara would be helping Celtic Bank accomplish that,” said Reese Howell, Jr. chief executive officer of Celtic Bank.
Being raised in Colorado, O’Meara has a sound understanding of the State’s economy and its drivers. O’Meara has worked in banking for more than 15 years and has helped provide many small business owners with financing around Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region.
O’Meara is an avid skier and was 1990 National Nordic Combined Champion, U.S. Ski Team Nordic Combined (from 1984 – 1991), and a member of the 1989 World Championship Team. After retiring from competitive skiing, O’Meara attended college at the University of Colorado, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology and a Minor in German.
