Taylors, S.C. – Last year, Fatz Cafe opened its doors for the first time on Thanksgiving Day.  Due to an overwhelming positive response they will do it again—at all 47 locations. Guests can enjoy all of their Fatz favorites or a special holiday meal at an unbeatable price. For only $10.99, guests will enjoy juicy turkey with home-cooked sides including cornbread stuffing, gravy, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cranberry sauce, a slice of traditional pumpkin pie and a non-alcoholic beverage.

New this year, guests who wish to take a break from the kitchen and celebrate the holiday at home can create their own delicious meal with our take home Thanksgiving Day menu. Choose from juicy sliced roasted turkey and spiral sliced ham and turkey gravy.  Hot sides like sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing, sweet corn soufflé, red-skinned mashed potatoes, and green beans. Cold sides like sweet Vidalia onion coleslaw and potato salad.  Also offered are Fatz Cafe’s signature Poppy seed rolls, and iced tea by the gallon. Each dish comes in a convenient, reusable and disposable container that stows neatly in the refrigerator and can be heated in both the microwave and conventional oven. You can also serve straight from the container.

“The popularity of prepared foods continues to grow as people try to devote more time to family and friends. We have created holiday selections in response to guests’ growing appetite for holiday meals that taste good and are quick and easy to prepare and serve. Guests can pick up a complete Thanksgiving dinner in one stop, heat it, and serve it from the same convenient and attractive packaging.” said Richie Cannon, vice president of operations of Fatz Cafe.

All Fatz Cafe restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day and many open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but you should contact the Fatz Cafe nearest you to verify hours of operation. Take-Home orders must be placed by Monday, November 23 and picked up by 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25.

In addition to this Thanksgiving Day special, Fatz Cafe has a great deal on holiday gift cards. Guests will receive a $5 Fatz Cafe Our Gift To You certificate with each $25 of gift cards purchased until Jan. 3, 2010. Whether they are purchased as holiday gifts or "Thank You" gestures, Fatz Cafe gift cards are a great option for the holiday gifting season. Fatz Cafe gift cards come in any monetary amount and are available at all locations and online at http://www.fatzcafe.com/.
