Yellow Pages Nationwide, Inc. Looks at Rivals

It is interesting that the largest gains currently are from the brick and mortar yellow page companies that have only recently come into the IYP arena. Rivals might want to take notice of smaller well placed local and vertical IYP’s.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jan 15, 2008 – Yellow Pages Nationwide, Inc., (YPN) with its current online directories approximately, 12, plans to eventually attract its rivals interest.  With two nationwide directories in place, http://www.yellowpagesnationwide.com and the new platform http://www.getyp.com  and presences in Australia, China, Japan, United Kingdom and Canada; plus the numerous vertical and local content directories YPN is growing and gaining market share. The Internet Yellow Pages (IYP) players according to a new report announced growth figures for the IYP segment of the booming local-search advertising industry.

At a recent Las Vegas expo Martin Snytsheuvel said, “Currently we (YPN) are in the elevator on the ground level and pressing the UP BUTTON, when compared to our rivals in the IYP arena; but what is so attractive about the Internet is that with the right plan in place and strong strategic partners we and our family of digital directories, Nationwide and International; current and coming can eventually compete with and gain large market share in an ever growing international online advertising industry.”
YPN feels that it can increase growth and gain in number of searches drastically. Especially as their resources grow and professional relationships solidify, a significant share increase is assured.

YPN has terrific news for their advertisers as they roll out their new programs and soon to be offering free products that the rivals charge for. YPN wants to fulfill the desire of consumers who need and use local search; with local markets such as www.yellowpageslasvegas.com and www.yellowpageschicago.com. Plus allow the merchants to see that there are alternatives to their online advertising strategies that are affordable and bring them great returns.

Currently YPN’s rivals feel confident and it is clear are enjoying a strong momentum in their share growth. However, as the new key initiatives are implemented and the continued enhancements of YPN take place it probably safe to say that the RIVALS MAY TAKE NOTICE.
