We are very thankful for the efforts of David Bostch (at Cornell) as he was the OpenAFS organization administrator who helped on that part of the effort.

OpenAFS 1.8.13/1.6.25 are the next releases in the current and old stable series of releases for Unix/Linux systems.

OpenAFS 1.8.12.2 is a regular point release of OpenAFS for recent Linux kernel support. Upgrading to 1.8.12.2 is only needed on clients with leading edge Linux kernel versions. (and users of openSUSE 15.6 which pulled in some upstream kernel bits)".

Our SNA OpenAFS software programmers and support providers Andrew Deason and Michael Meffie were nominated and accepted the role of OpenAFS project maintainer. This is a continuation of our more than 25 years of fearless computing.
