to Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc.

St. Louis, Missouri, July 28, 2023 - RR Mergers Announces Sale of BMS Locomotive Service Group to Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc.

Operating out of Edmonton, Alberta, BMS Locomotive Service Group provides locomotive field services in Western Canada. The company has completed more than 8,500 locomotive service field calls.

BMS performs running repairs, refurbishing, and modernizing, cleaning and painting rail locomotives, including locomotive engine change, remote control work, electrical troubleshooting, modification and re-wiring, mechanical troubleshooting and traction control installation and rewiring.

"This acquisition expands Genesee & Wyoming locomotive mobile services in Western Canada and leaves us well positioned to build upon the successful legacy of Brad Rae since he started building the business more than 20 years ago." said Rick McLellan, President of Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc.
