Welcome Mackenzie Carlin to Wisco Hotel Group

MILWAUKEE - Dec. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- The Wisco Hotel Group is excited to welcome Mackenzie Carlin as General Manager of the Fairfield Suites, by Marriott Milwaukee Airport.

Mackenzie has been a hotel and travel enthusiast for as long as she can remember. Tennis, Irish Dance, and good ole' family vacations exposed her to hotels all across the country, nurturing a curiosity for the industry. While on break from the University of WI- La Crosse, Mackenzie sought part-time employment as a Front Desk Associate at the Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Airport, and her hospitality career began.

Mackenzie's eight year tenure with the Courtyard allowed her to expand from Front Desk Associate, to Sales Coordinator, to Assistant General Manager. During this time, Mackenzie learned the ins-and-outs of hotels and fell in love with the ever-changing industry. Mackenzie took only a short hiatus from hospitality to open a second brick & mortar of her family's business, The Gift Shoppe - Brookfield, a local gem filled with home decor, novelties, candles and much more. Once Mackenzie built a base and name for the store in its new city, she returned to the Marriott family.

Mackenzie's belief that "all success starts within" has guided her to instill empowerment and accountability within herself and her teams. Mackenzie accredits a large amount of her professional success to her personal focus on fitness and preserving a work/life balance. Mackenzie is excited to tackle new challenges as General Manager, and looks forward to being part of the Fairfield Milwaukee Airport's prosperity.
