This Weekend's Patton Homestead Event Postponed

WENHAM, Mass. - Feb. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Due to impending warm temperatures and rain, The Town of Hamilton has postponed its Snow Day event scheduled for this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 24th from Noon – 4 p.m., and will feature outdoor activities such as hiking, sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on miles of trails groomed by the North Shore Nordic Association.  Access to the vast property, parking, and marshmallow roasting are free to guests. The event is a celebration of winter and the beauty of the Homestead's landscape.

"We know how much our residents, and visitors to the area, love to enjoy the outdoors.  We are very excited about welcoming them to the Patton Homestead and for the opportunity to outline some of the good things in store for the property, " said Town Manager Michael Lombardo.

The Whoo(pie) Wagon, of Topsfield, will be on hand to sell treats and beverages. Equipment rental is available by visiting Sports Stop in Wenham.  Dogs on leashes are welcome.

The Patton Homestead is located at 650 Asbury Street in Hamilton. Parking is available in an adjoining lot, and handicap access is available via the driveway next to the house
