Manage Seasonal Stress Using Guided Meditation With Acupuncture

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Natural Remedee and Northshore Acupuncture Center have partnered to help people manage seasonal stress through a guided meditation with an acupuncture stress relief treatment.

"We know people are under a lot of stress at this time of year," says Amy Landolt, Licensed Acupuncturist. "We are inviting people to join us for guided meditation with acupuncture to help them deal with that stress."

The idea for combining meditation with acupuncture actually came directly from Northshore Acupuncture Center clients. "When I conduct group stress relief treatments, I suggest that people try meditating during treatment. Clients tell me afterwards how powerful the experience is for them. However, many people aren't sure how to start. So, we teamed up with Dee Bayro, owner of Natural Remedee and June Blunk, meditation expert, and immediately began to plan our first guided meditation with acupuncture event."

For those not ready for a full acupuncture treatment, there are many stress relief options. People are welcome to participate in the meditation only, or can try just one acupuncture needle in each ear. " When you are in the same space with four or more people receiving an acupuncture stress relief treatment, you receive some of the benefits of the acupuncture even without getting the treatment yourself," says Landolt.

"I feel at ease and at peace during and after the acupuncture treatment with meditation and the results are long lasting. I've come to use acupuncture and guided meditation regularly as a tool that I can later access when I find myself in a stressful moment or situation," shares Deanna Whiteside, guided meditation with acupuncture participant.

The next Guided Meditation with Acupuncture is Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at 6:30pm at 830 E Higgins Rd, Suite 114 in Schaumburg. The cost is $10 for meditation only, $15 for acupuncture with just one needle in each ear, and $25 for the full stress relief acupuncture treatment. Space is limited; call Northshore Acupuncture Center at 815-814-1319 to reserve your spot. Additional details about the event can be found online at www.northshoreacupuncturecenter.com.
