Broomfield Teen to Perform at The Big Talent Showcase in Vegas

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - June 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Anyone who has met Maya Claridge will tell you she has a passion for the arts and a gift for entertaining.  Maya opened the 2015 Broomfield Thunder Baseball season by singing the National Anthem and will sing again at the Northglenn Fourth of July Ceremony next week.  In 2013 Maya won the US Western Region National Youth Arts Award for Best Actress in a Musical.  In May 2014 she developed a theatrical program at her school, putting on the first middle-school production at PRA; and in May of this year she stared in the Rocky Top Middle School production of Annie Jr. as the comedic Miss Hannigan.

When she's not on-stage, Maya is on-camera, staring in five independent films this year, an industrial commercial and a music-video shot in New York City.  When she's not working on a project, she's attending Casting Director workshops, taking acting classes and continuing her vocal training.

Represented locally by Big Fish Talent, Maya feels honored to have been selected to perform at The Big Talent Showcase in Vegas and is seeking sponsorship for the trip.  "Just like students who are given the opportunity to travel abroad for academic purposes, The Big Talent Showcase is the chance of a lifetime for me," says Maya, who will get to perform in front of film and music industry professionals who have the power and influence to take her career to the next level.
