NEW YORK - May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- New Jersey sure isn't Florida, but this Navy Veteran definitely knows how to firmly stand his ground. What happened here proves a huge advancement concerning the government's perception of cannabis use and employee rights, especially in the federal workplace.  During his year-long appointment with the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in New Jersey from 2013-2014, Jonathan Fruchter was upfront with the people that he worked with and his supervisors about his medical use of cannabis and views on how veterans would benefit in all forms from cannabis related therapies and treatments.  The Department came to an agreement to allow Jonathan to self-medicate with cannabis, and he did so rather than use the recommended treatment plans laid out by Veteran Hospitals worldwide which always include placing veterans under the effects of intense drug-induced comas and are at the root cause for the countless, reoccurring and unnecessary daily suicides.

Giving up your human rights isn't part of the contract. Isn't that what the VA is supposed to do, protect a veteran's health?  Yes, and he made sure they did so in this case by protecting the health of a veteran which is the oath that the agency must uphold to all veterans.  Jonathan is the founder of the (WCNN) World Cannabis News Network® which publishes The High Street Journal as well as The World Cannabis Times.  This year, Jonathan was on the speaking panel again for the International Cannabis Association (ICA) at the 3rd Annual Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo held at the Jacob J. Javits Convention Center in New York City from June 15-18, 2016.  The presentation was titled "The Final Push: Veterans Safe Government Access."

Jonathan is the chairman and founder of the New Jersey Medical Cannabis Association, an organization striving to bring synergy to the tri-state medical and upcoming legal cannabis communities, and is a member of the Marijuana Business Association.  A veteran of the Navy's special operations air rescue swimmer (AIRR) community, he has first hand knowledge of the tremendous medical benefits of cannabis.  An activist from the start, he holds the position of Founder for The World Cannabis Club, and COO and Founder of New Jersey's 1st caregiver delivery service Natural Wellness & Edibles, which is on the forefront of forming alliances within the cannabis community in order to reform the currently broken state's medical marijuana program. Jonathan is also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Jewish War Veterans.

Natural Wellness & Edibles was founded in 2012 and is New Jersey's 1st delivery-only caregiver service of medical-grade cannabis and medicinal cannabis products. It is a passionate service dedicated to benefiting your healthy lifestyle.

The World Cannabis Club (http://www.worldcannabisclub.com/) was founded in 2012 as New York's First Dispensary.  The WCC is an international exchange of cannabis, camaraderie, compassion, and information about the wellness benefits of cannabis.
