Debbie Austin Honored as Realtor of the Year by the Pulaski County Board of Realtors

ST. ROBERT, Mo. - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Realtor Debbie Austin has hit the ground running in her chosen profession. Last year, after earning her license and joining Walker Real Estate, she was named Rookie of the Year for the Pulaski County Board of Realtors. This year, Austin was honored as Realtor of the Year for the same real estate trade association. The award was announced at the Board’s recent annual awards celebration and it is very rare for a Realtor in the business less than five years to receive such an industry honor.

         An involved Realtor in her field as well as a dedicated volunteer in the community, Debbie Austin has chaired the Pulaski County Board’s Realtor Political Action Committee for the last couple years; has been a CHOICES program presenter for the local Chamber of Commerce since 2010; is a founding and active board member for the Free Women’s Center; and regularly participates or organizes various fund-raising and community events such as the Walk for Life and the Hail to Hero’s Event Dinner for the Armed Forces YMCA.

A military wife herself, she is also a self-proclaimed third generation Army brat. Therefore, Debbie has the unique ability to see these necessary military moves from both an adult’s and a child’s perspective.
