Union Brothers Pizza announces made to order single serving meal

YORKTOWN, Va. - Feb. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Until now, Union Brothers Pizza had reisisted the tempation to sell pizza by the slice. It wasn't that customers looking for a quick bite hadn't asked. With Union Brothers Pizza reopening for lunch every day, owner Scott Wilco knew he had to do something, so he came up with the Union Box, two slices of made to order pizza, and a half order of Union Bread, all for only $5. "I never wanted someone's first bite of my pizza to be a slice that had been premade and sitting under a wamer.", said Wilco, "We needed to offer something quick, single serving, affordable, that could still match the quality we demand."

Wilco said that the Union Box came about by accident.

"I was just trying to use a small pizza dough to make two slices, and if I had to toss out the other half of the dough, so be it. I made one for myself, and realized that the unusable side came out like a Union Bread. The Union Box was born."

A Union Box with one topping will only cost $5, or you can get a speciality Union Box for $7.

Union Brothers Pizza is located at 2960 Hampton HWY in Yorktown Virginia. They open at 11am everyday and can be reached at 757-223-0770.
