CARBONDALE, Colo. - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The Revive Your Running Workshop (http://elinorfish.com/event/revive-your-running-workshop/) to be held at Ripple Effect Athlete Training Center in Carbondale, Colorado, offers runners an integrated solution for overcoming chronic injury or prevent their chance of injury, while speeding recovery and performance.

The workshop, which will take place starting at 5:30 pm on Friday, April 10th and finish at 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 11th, is offered by three Roaring Fork Valley-based sports and fitness experts: Carolyn Parker, owner of Ripple Effect, Elinor Fish, running and wellness coach, and Marcey Robinson, MS, RD, CSSD and sports nutritionist.

The comprehensive workshop will cover the three essential aspects to healthy running:

1. Natural running form with Elinor Fish. Lessen the impact of running by making gravity do more of the work while engaging the essential muscle groups that runners so often under-utilize. We’ll clear up the confusion about barefoot running, footstrike and form. We’ll analyze your form and give you the specific feedback you need to be more efficient.

2. Identify and address the weakest points in your kinetic chain to re-balance the body and prevent injuries. Carolyn Parker will evaluate your posture, joint mobility, flexibility and functional strength and teach you the strengthening exercises you must include in your routine to prevent or overcome running-related injury.

3. Optimize your daily nutrition with Marcey Robinson. Learn how nutrition can vastly improve your recovery and healing, making you a stronger, more successful runner. Marcey will evaluate your nutritional habits and help you identify the best strategies and foods to suit your specific needs and challenges.

The investment in this program is $275 per person. Those who sign up before March 1 receive an early bird rate of $225 (a $50 savings). More information, a full workshop itinerary and registration is available at www.ElinorFish.com (http://elinorfish.com/event/revive-your-running-workshop/)or email: elinor@elinorfish.com.
