Foundation partners with Neil Rackham to support this annual award

DAYTON, Ohio - Feb. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- The Sales Education Foundation (SEF) recently announced the recipient of the annual SEF/Neil Rackham Research Dissemination Award. Dr. Adam Rapp, from The University of Alabama, received the most nominations from his peers. Additional criteria for this award includes bringing quality sales research to industry professionals, the benefits of which should be measurable. Individuals who nominated Dr. Rapp for this award cited his extensive publications, insightful research and willingness to help others as key factors in their decision to nominate him.

The program’s $5,000 award is given in honor of the winner to a sales program or non-profit organization of their choice.

According to Neil Rackham, best-selling author and renowned sales researcher, “the time has come for increased collaboration between sales researchers and practitioners. We have seen them work separately for decades – now we can streamline their work into a cohesive strategy that will benefit universities, sales practitioners and consumers alike.” Recognizing the market’s changing needs, Rackham donated $75,000 to be distributed over five years to those building positive collaborations and providing quality research to industry.
