Tixers Teams Up with TicketFire to Release Mobile App

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Tixers.com, an UpTech-backed digital ticket exchange company, today announced the launch of its mobile application that has been developed through a partnership with TicketFire, a mobile ticketing company.

The Tixers app allows users to quickly digitize paper tickets and can be used at any stadium nationwide that allows mobile entry. In addition, Tixers users can instantly transfer tickets to friends or straight to Tixers in return for credit.

Tixers allows ticket holders to quickly trade in tickets for up-front credit. The credit can then be used towards any other future event, including sports, concerts, and theatre productions throughout the country. Since its official launch in March, Tixers has been leveraging TicketFire’s mobile application to assist in this innovative selling process.

The Tixers app combines TicketFire’s standard ticket scanning technology with several features that allow users to create and use a single Tixers account. This enhances the ticket selling process pioneered by Tixers, in addition to giving its users the opportunity to digitize their tickets to add to Passbook, send to friends, and more.
