Follow on Google News | ![]() SupperShare has been acquired and is set to become a global and unique hospitality platformBy: SupperShare It is with enormous pleasure and pride that today we formally communicate Suppershare's ownership change. Sponsored by the University of Gastronomic Sciences, founded by SlowFood in Pollenzo, Italy, young food entrepreneurs Alessandro Grampa and Valerio Leo together with Maurizio Chisu, double graduate at Bocconi University, Milan, and Fudan University, Shanghai, decided to acquire Suppershare for an undisclosed amount. Roberto Scaccia and Nicola Lioce, founders and former CEO and CFO of SupperShare, who started this platform in San Francisco about a year ago, let Alessandro, Valerio and Maurizio take the guide of this project, sure of their capacities and the strong background and networks they are coming from. The aim is to develop the platform with new concepts and features in Italy at first, and then around the world. The new team is already working hard and it is about to present interesting initiatives to the public. Their first official public appearance just took place in Venice, at Salone della Cultura, on November 23. This is one of the few cases where a Silicon Valley’s start up migrates to Italy, an undisputed homeland of food culture. The new network Suppershare is now in, will play a key role in the success of the platform and next year there will be more exciting news that will transform SupperShare into a leading hospitality platform within both the Italian and the global market.
