Awesome! FMC Connection Day 2014!

BETHPAGE, N.Y. - Oct. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- FMC Connection Day 2014 can be summed up with one word, AWESOME. This year’s conference kicked off with a breakfast keynote by Steve Rubel, Executive Vice President, Global Strategies Insight, Edelman and was followed by more than 15 workshops. FMC brought in about 100 speakers and hundreds of attendees, who by the look on their faces seemed to enjoy every minute of the day.

Rubel’s keynoted paved the way for an amazing day. The workshops following his keynote touched upon some current topics such as the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to Ebola Hits the U.S.: Behind the News of Disease Outbreaks. Attendees also got the chance to meet the media by attending workshops such as, Inside Secrets: The News Media Tells You How to Pitch Them, and Inside Newsrooms Today. Josh Einiger, Reporter fromWABC-TV, Amy Waldman, Senior Executive Producer at PIX11 News, Lon S. Cohen, Communications Director of the ALS Association-Greater NY Chapter, Dr. Bruce Hirsch, FACP, AAHIVS attending physician of infectious diseases at North Shore-LIJ Medical Group, and Alison Morris, Business Reporter at WNYW/FOX 5 were just some of the many outstanding panelists at FMC Connection Day 2014!
